Broadband in the
States 2003 provides
an objective, quantitative snapshot of broadband deployment in the
United States. Widespread broadband deployment has already proven to
be critical in advancing important business activities such as the
growth of electronic commerce and distance learning. This report
examines national and state-by-state broadband trends, broadband
technology subscriptions, and broadband technology preferences since
December 1999.

- California, New York, Florida, Texas, and New Jersey top states by
broadband subscribers.
- Massachusetts, New Jersey, California, the District of Columbia, and
