The Federal Procurement Data Center (FPDC) contains statistical data about U.S. Government Executive Branch procurement contract transactions awarded since October 1, 1978. Every year, the Federal Executive Branch spends approximately $200 billion to buy goods and services. The FPDC summarizes who bought what, from whom, and where.
FPDS Product Code's are categorizations of the kinds of "things" that the U.S. Government Buys. They consist of Federal Supply Classification codes developed to categorize tangible products and service codes developed specifically for use in the Federal Procurement Data System.

What is the 8(a) Business Development (BD) Program? The SBA's 8(a) BD Program, named for a section of the Small Business Act, is a business development program created to help small disadvantaged businesses compete in the American economy and access the federal procurement market.
How do I apply to the 8(a) BD program? Contacting the local SBA district office serving your area is the first step. An SBA representative will answer general questions over the telephone. The AeA Member Directory's primary field allows you to scan for several different criteria at the same time. These style options allow you further control as to how this field is used.
When "Match on any word" (the default) is selected, your search will return results that contain a field that matches at least 1 of your search terms.
When "Match on all words" is selected, your search will return results that contain matches to all of the terms in the Multisearch field.
When "Match exact phrase" is selected, your search will only return results that match a field to the exact phrase you entered.
You may perform an exact phrase match within another style of query by enclosing the phrase you want to match within double quotes("). (Example : drs "American Science" nanobyte)
The AeA Member Directory Multisearch scans several different fields in our database simultaneously. These style options allow you to further delineate which type of query you wish to perform.
When Company Name is selected, you will be looking at the Company's acronym, name, former name, location, and ticker.
When Company Product is selected, you will be scanning the Company's product description, SIC code, SIC description, related SIC codes, related SIC code desriptions, NAICS code, NAICS code description, related NAICS codes, and related NAICS code descriptions.
When Executive/Title is selected you will be scanning Executive and Procurement contact's first name, last name and title.
Company Name and Company Product searches may be performed simultaneously. Executive/Title queries must be performed seperately.
