Greetings from the desk of Don Hicks...

TechAmerica, The Association of Companies Driving Innovation Worldwide
I am excited to announce that we are now TechAmerica. The brand TechAmerica communicates who we are and what we represent quickly, strategically, and effectively. Our descriptor, “The Association of Companies Driving Innovation Worldwide,” like the brand name, is grounded in the belief that our members make America synonymous with technology – and promote technology around the world.

Policy Matters:
New leadership for our government affairs committee
I am proud to announce Marc Schneider is our new Chairman of the government affairs committee. Marc is a partner at the law firm of Stradling, Yocca, Carlson, and Rauth, where he specializes in securities and complex business litigation. Marc is Vice-Chair for the local Anti-Defamation League chapter, a member of ADL “Leadership 20/20” group, and was recently recognized as “One of California’s Top Twenty Lawyers Under 40.”

I need to thank our past chairman, Kevin McDonald, Senior Vice President at Alvaka Networks. Kevin has demonstrated outstanding leadership and will continue mentoring government affairs programs at other California councils of TechAmerica.

Please join us in driving innovation worldwide.

Don Hicks TechAmerica OC Executive Director
