CSC Celebrates Wednesday's Team CSC Saxo Bank Victory With Second Donation to Velokhaya Cycling Program

One-of-a-kind Cervelo Bikes Being Auctioned in Support of the Life Cycling Academy

FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) congratulates Carlos Sastre and his teammates on his exciting victory on the famed Alpe d'Huez during Wednesday's 17th stage of the Tour de France. Sastre's victory puts him in the maillot jaune, the yellow jersey worn by the overall race leader. Sastre remains the overall race leader at the end of today's 19th stage. The achievement also marks CSC's second donation of 3,000 Euro to Velokhaya, a CSC-led fundraising and awareness campaign for South Africa's Life Cycling Academy.

The Velokhaya initiative was launched at the 2007 Tour de France at CSC's European headquarters in Aldershot, England. Since then, founding international partners CSC, Team CSC Saxo Bank and Cervelo have helped Velokhaya raise funds and advance its efforts to build a world-class youth development and cycling training facility in the community of Khayelistsha in South Africa. In addition to a donation for each Team CSC Saxo Bank stage win, CSC and Cervelo are sponsoring the online auction of three, one-of-a-kind Cervelo bikes on eBay. All proceeds from the auction benefit Velokhaya. Bidding on the three CSC bikes -- each with a unique, never-to-be-repeated commemorative paint job -- will close at approximately 7 a.m. EDT on July 29. Learn more about the eBay auction items by visiting http://www.csc.com/cycling/auction.
