AeA's 6th Annual Party in the Pinot


Celebrate Oregon’s High-Tech Industry with over 400 of the area’s top technology executives and service providers at AeA’s Annual Gala, Party in the Pinot!

AeA Assumes Leadership of the Annual Oregon Technology Awards Program 
A Re-Launch Dinner was held at clarklewis Restaurant on May 8, 2008.  Approximately 50 of the area's Technology Executives and past winners came together to reinforce the importance of continuing the awards program, and to celebrate the past winners.  The next Technology Awards Program will take place Thursday, May 7, 2009.

AeA Announces Board of Directors Education Series
Good Governance Matters  

AeA announces a new series of local programs geared towards helping corporate directors navigate the challenges of leadership. Billed as “Good Governance Matters,” the series will focus on best practices for members of corporate boards.  

The next event takes place on May 20, 2008, Best Practices for Boards in Executive Compensation.


Get involved in the Oregon AeA PAC - Did you know that AeA Oregon has a political action committee? The PAC pools contributions from member companies to assist candidates for the Legislature and statewide office get elected.  The PAC is bipartisan – it works with both Democrats and Republicans. AeA Oregon invites you to get involved.

April 2, 2008:  AeA Reports that Oregon’s Tech Industry Adds 2,900 Jobs
Nationally, Cyberstates 2008 shows that the high-tech industry added jobs for the third consecutive year. Tech industry employment totaled 5.9 million, after adding 91,400 jobs in 2007. This is on top of job gains of 139,000 in 2006 and 87,400 in 2005...read more.
